Our work includes Government policy on sport, museums, libraries, archives, heritage, tourism, the Lottery, gambling and architecture. Government Office for the West Midlands also supports the West Midlands Cultural Consortium (Culture West Midlands) set up by DCMS to champion the cultural sectors in the West Midlands.

Working Together
A booklet (see below) has been published by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). It gives a useful summary of what it does, who it works with, and why. Although aimed at local councillors it will interest anyone wanting to know more about DCMS.
